Can you please explain what you mean exactly? Maybe a link?

LetMeTalk already supports scanning devices on both, Android and iOS :)

BTW: did we were in contact a few monthes ago?

Greetings,

Jens

Good day,
I send the link of a Portuguese software that lets you use the scan option that I intended. In the manual, in section 2 extamente explains what I am questioning. www.magickey.ipg.pt/ptmagiccontact.aspx
Also sending another link that hopefully also facilitate my question.

Yes, I had been in contact with you a few months ago :) I really like the software of your organization, but liked to be able to use it with different children.

Best regards

Hi Jens,
I apologize for insisting but consider that changing this setting was a plus and really liked to be able to use. Jens already have news for me?

Thank you for availability,

Hello Marta,

what you are demonstrating in the video and what I read in the article is already possible with LetMeTalk :)
The problems you had a few months ago are already fixed! On Android we even added some settings to make the usage more convenient :)
Ok, it does not work with a second phone, but with external buttons. I have an iMonkey (sites.google.com/site/zhcsystems/products/imonkey) here and it "just works" :)

Can you please test it and report back, if it works and what improvements you want?

I also planned the writing of 2 tutorials about it (Android and iOS are too different to do it in one article), but did not find enough time so far. Maybe this would help?

Greetings,
Jens

Thanks for listening,
For me to select this setting is in the "Settings" option in the Software or tablet?
I tried using it with a yes button, known here as "external knob" - sending the demo link(www.google.com/search?q=switch&source=ln...rc=lUfmW91C5CJLfM%3A)

It is operating to the ISO? It is that the version has been updated :)
Yes, I think a usage guide was an asset to facilitate the settings.
Thanks again :)

Best regards

No.
You need to enable the button in the settings of the operating system and then it "just works".

The button we have behaves like a bluetooth keyboard (in fact you can test it with a cheap bluetooth keyboard if you have some) having two functions, "touch" and "long touch" (which mean SPACE and ENTER)
Under Android You can set "touch" to "NEXT" and "long touch" to "Enter". Then it works like in the video you send me!
I have not tried it with iOS in the last months so I forgot the procedure there, but again you have to activate the button in the iOS-Settings and then it "just works" in the app.

I think I should write the 2 tutorials explaining it better :)

I do not know what you mean with ISO. As I said it acts like an bluetooth keyboard with 2 keys. You can add a second button, which then emulates 2 other keys.

We added the functionality a few monthes ago, probably with version 1.3.6 in May. We needed to add some accessibility functions to make iOS work.
With Android everything just worked except some minor bugs and that you need Android5 or higher to get it working at all!

I wrote the first version of the Android article. You can find it at letmetalk.info/blog/51-using-external-bu...tmetalk-android.html
Can you please look over it and try it out?
Is it simple enough? Does it has errors in it?

Thanks!
